Convair 580/Canadair CC-109

The Canadair CC-09 Cosmopolitan was started in September of 2011. The basic airframe was made from enlarged and modified Don Smith plans. The plane has a wingspan of 200" and is going to be powered with Evolution 80's. It has landing gear developed and constructed by my good friend Bob Walker. The plan is to use the 4 bladed props seen below to gain enough clearance for grass.
